how life came into existence?

Origin of life or abiogenesis is the natural process by which life has arisen from non living matter such as simple organic compound .

Since 19th century ,biologist have known that all living things are made up of "cells"(tiny bags of living matter that come in different shapes and sizes.cells was first discovered in 17th century,when the first modern microscopes were invented ,but it took well over a century for anyone to realise that they were the basis of all life.

Earliest evidence for life on earth comes from fossilized Mats of cyanobacteria,which form layered structures called stromatolites they were the most likely earths first photosynthetic organism ,these stromatolites were found in the World Heritage Area of Shark Bay ,Western Australia.

Hence, the earliest evidence for life on earth arises among the oldest rocks still preserved on the planet
